GENERAL VISITATION FAQ:

Do I have to fill out Little Oceanauts Online Liability Waiver? What if I’ve been there before, do I have to fill it out again?
– Our Online Liability Waiver is required for all families who have children that are planning on playing in our structures. If you have visited us or celebrated a birthday party here before, you do not have to fill it out again. If you need to add another participating child, just let the front desk know to add them in or you can email us with your phone number so we can add them prior to your arrival.

What age should my kid be to play?
We happily accept kids 0-12 years old. Any child that is under the age of 18 years must fill out our online liability waiver.

What happens during check in?
We will check for your completed online liability waiver with your phone number associated with the waiver, check your child’s name, create a wrist band with their name and your phone number.

Do I have to wear socks?
– For adults, regular socks is fine but we require all participating children to wear Little Oceanauts Non-slip grippy socks while playing. They are sold for $3 each. If you bring your Little Oceanauts Non-Slip Grip Socks, you’ll get $3 off the sock fee.

Which areas do I have to wear socks on?
We require socks to be worn on the blue mat play areas, even if you’re going to stand still or sit on the bench. On the wooden floors or table area, you can keep your shoes on. Shoes must be worn in the restrooms and party rooms to avoid the spread of germs.

Why do kids have to wear Little Oceanauts non-slip socks?
It is a requirement for their safety to prevent them from slipping and injuring themselves and you’ll be supporting us at Little Oceanauts by representing us with our fun socks!

How often is the facility cleaned?
We clean and sanitize our structures everyday. We use a lemon lysol solution and towels to scrub the structures clean every night. Ball pit balls are sprayed down by disinfectant every day & are washed by hand with disinfectant weekly.

GENERAL PARTY FAQ:

I am looking for a party venue to celebrate my child’s birthday, can I have their party at Little Oceanauts?
Absolutely yes! You can celebrate a party any day of the week just as long as it is available. Check party calendar for availabilities.

When is the best time to book for a party?
We recommend booking and securing your date at least 2 months in advance.

Who is counted as a “participating child“?
– Children who are under 12 years old and walking are counted as one child.

When are the party time slots?
– 10:00AM – 12:00PM, 12:00PM – 2:00PM, 2:00PM – 4:00PM, 4:15pm – 6:15PM, & 6:30PM – 8:30PM.

I want a 3-hour party, how do I select a 3-hour party?
– Our booking system doesn’t have “3-hour time slots” but choose the time closest to your party time. EX. If you want a 12:00pm – 3:00pm, choose 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Please check if the time slots before & after are available.

Can I come in earlier than the expected time?
No, please come only 15 minutes prior to your party start time. Our party coordinators needs enough time to sanitize, organize and properly set up the party room for your party.

Is 15-minutes enough time for me to set up?
Yes, it is more than enough time. When you arrive, there will be at least 2 of our worker who will help you unload your car and also help you set up in the party room while you tend to your guests.

What am I supposed to expect during the day of my party?
When you arrive 15 minutes prior to your party start time, you can double park or find parking on the main street, Ocean Ave., two of our party coordinators will come out with loading carts to help you unload your party items. We will wheel your items into the party room while you and your immediate family check in at the front desk. We will begin helping you set up and decorate while you tend to your incoming guests and when we are finished, we will go over the party time line with you. We’ll make announcements and help you throughout the entirety of your party.

My guests have filled out the online waiver, can they all just come in immediately?
No, please allow the front desk to check your guests in. We will still need to check their temperatures and give the kids wristbands.

Does my Classic Party package come with eating utensils?
All packages come with eating utensils (ie. paper plates, napkins, utensils & cups)

Can Little Oceanauts blow up my balloons?
We ask that you prepare and pre-blow up balloons before your arrival on your party date. This eliminates delay in your party timeline. If bringing blown balloons may seem like a headache, we have decoration vendors who would love to help you decorate! & we at Little Oceanauts also make balloon garlands as an add-on to your party for a fee!

Do you have a fridge, freezer or microwave I can use?
Unfortunately, we do not have a fridge, freezer or microwave that guests can use.

What is the cancellation policy?
All Deposits are Non-Refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of your party date will forfeit paid deposit. For rescheduling, you must fill out a new party request form and pay the party package’s deposit fee again to secure your new date and time slot.

Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are Non-Refundable. They are transferrable only if it is more than 30 days away from your party date.

Can I upgrade my party package at a later date after I’ve submitted the deposit?
Yes, absolutely if time allows. Upgrading from a Classic to a Deluxe is doable. If you want to upgrade to an Ultimate package, we will have to check if a 3-hour time slot is available.

Can I host a private party before 4pm?
Unfortunately, we cannot host private events before 4pm. This is because we want our walk in guests to enjoy playing at Little Oceanauts as well. During non-private events, the play area with our walk-in guests while having a large private party room in the back of Little Oceanauts.

PARTY VENDOR QUESTIONS:

Do I contact your vendors directly?
– No, we ask that you do not contact our vendors directly. We keep in constant communication with them to have you worry less. If you contact vendors directly, fees may apply.

I want to book your decorations/entertainment/desserts vendors, how do I do that?
– Once you submit your deposit to book your party, we will contact our vendors about their availabilities. Once we find their availability, we will relay your party information including which party package you’d like from them. If they are unavailable, we will try our best to find alternatives for you.

FOOD:
Can I bring my own food?
– Yes, you can bring in your own food. There will be a $10 food surcharge for every box/tray of entree or boxes of pizza. The $10 fee excludes desserts, snacks, drinks, fruit platters.

Will I be charged the food surcharge if I order from your food vendors?
– No, if you order with our food vendor through Little Oceanauts you will not be charged the $10/food surcharge.

How do I order from your food vendors?
– To order, simply email us your name, date, & order. We will send you the amount due and ways to pay via Venmo or Zelle.

How many guests can one XL Amore pizza feed?
– For reference, 1 cheese pizzas can feed about 5-6 kids; 1 pizza can feed about 3-4 adults. We recommend cheese pizzas, Mac and cheese, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken nuggets, and/or fries for kids.

Can I order directly from the food vendors?
– Yes, you can but we prefer and recommend that you order through us to ensure you do not get charged the food surcharge fee. If you order directly from our food vendor, sizing and portions may vary as our vendors create special sizes for our Little Oceanauts’ guests.

Do I have to contact your partnered food vendors about anything?
– There is no need to contact our partnered food vendors, we will be in communication with them.

Will I get charged 18% gratuity on top of the food ordered from vendors?
– No, it will be a separate bill. Tips are not included when paying our food vendors but are welcomed.
